Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Gallerease (the “Service”), you agree to these terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

2. Accounts

You sign in through a third-party provider (Google or GitHub). You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your provider account secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

3. Plans, billing, and cancellation

Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Paid plans may include a free trial; if you do not add a payment method before the trial ends, your account reverts to the Free plan.

You can cancel at any time from your billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for partial months except where required by law.

If a payment fails, we will attempt to collect again and notify you. If payment is not received within 7 days, your account reverts to the Free plan and Free plan limits apply.

4. Your content

You retain all rights to images and other content you upload. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and serve that content solely in order to operate the Service.

You are responsible for having the rights to everything you upload. Do not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have permission to distribute.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to distribute malware, to attempt to breach its security or access other users' data, to place disproportionate load on the infrastructure, or to resell the Service without written permission.

6. Plan limits

Each plan has published limits on sites, galleries, images, and storage. We may enforce these limits by refusing new uploads once a limit is reached. We will give notice before materially reducing the limits of an existing paid plan.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings; doing so cancels any active subscription and permanently deletes your sites, galleries, and uploaded images. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

8. Availability and disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of any content you consider important.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in the application before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
